Customer Review: Juki HZL-K85 Sewing Machine
For a company that manufactures mostly industrial sewing machines, Juki has successfully launched a good household sewing machine that does not only provide a lot of good features, but also offers a great price.
Many sewing machine manufacturers have taken for granted the fact that there could be people who would have problems threading and replacing bobbins, most especially for mature sewers. Juki has definitely taken that into consideration when they included the auto-threading in the Juki K-85. Aside from the varied stitches, one can also stitch letters and numbers. Sewing knits is a breeze as it has the stretch stitches.
The needle up/down feature enables one to choose between stopping with the needle down (in case only sewing pivoting is needed) or up to terminate sewing. Speed can also be adjusted so that one who is just starting to use a computerized sewing machine can set the machine to a lower speed. It operates quietly so that communication is possible even when machine is in use. The machine is lightweight yet heavy enough to get stationary on the table. The DVD instructional and the accompanying manual answers practically all questions about the machine’s operation. [Read More Reviews …]
